Although we were hoping this would be our first Christmas with our little one, it has still been a fun holiday with family & friends. We even got a couple of adoption-related gifts this year. I received the Teach Yourself Russian Complete Course and Rob recieved the Adopting a Toddler book. Both gifts were from our friend Buddy who is excited for us and can't wait to be an uncle again.

The Russian government all but shuts down from mid-December 'til mid-January for the holidays (New Year's is a very big holiday in Russia and then they celebrate Orthodox Christmas on January 7th). We don't expect to hear anymore news on our accrediatation until the end of January.
