Refingerprinting

I have the letter ready to mail tomorrow to the USCIS requesting refingerprinting. Ours will expire in June. They told us it is about a 6-8 week process to do the redo. At least this time around it is free!

I just sent my request for re-fingerprinting on Saturday. I sent the fingerprint payment though. Does this fee vary by state? I'm pretty sure I was supposed to pay for this. We live in Texas.

We were told that in Texas, they do not charge for re-fingerprinting for adoptions. Hopefully that's true since we didn't send a payment with ours!

Nope, we didn't have any charge either when we re-did ours in October.
Our processing was really quick too, less than 2 weeks! NW Highway location in Dallas.

OK, so now do you think they will send my money order back? Wishful thinking maybe?? I will have to figure out who to contact now for a refund. Ok, what else have I got to do during the 'wait'. Life is fun!
