Good News on the 4th of July
Thursday, July 5, 2007
The rumors were true - there was good news yesterday! Russia issued reaccreditation to 8 agencies (7 U.S. agencies and 1 French agency). Although ours wasn’t one of the 7, this is a sign of goods things to come, hopefully in the very near future.
This is the first accreditation that has been issued in 16 months and it is starting to look like the wait is coming to an end. We’re holding out hope that our agency will be in the next batch and that it’ll come soon...

If I was a betting girl (which I'm not) I would bet that our agency is in the next batch! :-) Very exciting!!!
I am betting our agency is in the batch too...keeping my fingers crossed. We are all ready to go get our babies!!
Yay! That is so exciting! I am sure your agency won't be long now :) Can't wait to hear more news!
That is awesome and about time! I actually had switched from Russia to Ukraine in 2000 when the same process had stalled the system (our dossier was in Perm Russia).
I am so glad things are looking up.
YEAH!
Becky / Rachel - I hope you are right and CHI makes the next batch!
adoptedthree - we thought about switching regions several times but we are so close to the top of our region's list that we were afraid that starting over in a new region would just delay us longer.
