Stay Current with Google Reader
Saturday, July 7, 2007
Rob recently posted an article on the benefits of using an RSS reader on our 2Dolphins blog. For those of you who read blogs regularly and don’t know, a RSS feed reader is a must have! It allows you to read all of your favorite blogs from one place without having to constantly remember to go to a bunch of different individual websites.Currently, I’m subscribed to over 50 blog sites and it would be impossible for me to keep up with them on a daily basis without a feed reader. One of the biggest benefits of Google Reader is that it’ll show me only blog posts that I have not read yet. This feature saves me from having to constantly check for new posts at my favorite blogs.
If you already have a Gmail account then you’re all set to go. If not, you can get a Gmail account for free and then get started (and no, I’m not affiliated with Google in any way). ;-)

Thanks for the tip! I love Google!! Those guys rock!
Me too and you can't beat the price! ;-)
Jennstar do you have a blog? If you do, post or send me some email so I can add you to my blog listing.
Thanks for this info! I'm not using google reader! I'm a techy at heart, but whenever I hit someone's RSS link all that html would pop up and I though, huh?? What am I supposed to do with that? This google reader is great. I'm still trying to figure out how accurate it is because sometimes I find blogs that have been updated that don't show are new. Am I missing something? A setting somewhere? Thanks to your husband for the great instructions, btw!
