Rotating Reps
Thursday, August 23, 2007
We received an email last night from CHI that shocked us. It seems our agency consultant Sue is suddenly no longer with them. Not only was Sue our consultant but she was also CHI's Russia program director. This is the second time we have lost our consultant since we began our adoption.
Needless to say, Rob and I were a little upset and worried about this. In fact, I believe the exact phrase that Rob used was "rats on a sinking ship."
But I talked to Yuriy, who will now be heading up CHI's Russia program and he told me about our new consultant, Nichole. We then talked to Nichole and she assured us that there would not be any delays because of the sudden staff changes. We brought her up to speed on our file and we feel comfortable with her as our new rep.
We still don't know the story behind Sue leaving so abruptly but if you're reading this Sue, we will miss you and wish you the best!
Now if Russia will just give CHI their reaccreditation, we can move forward.

I just lost Mareda and we've seen a third rep in our local office. I know how you are feeling and I'm looking forward to talking with our new rep.
We went through a change at our agency recently too. Now we only have the trainee that the director was training. There's another Russian coordinator as well we just didn't get assigned to her. I'm a little worried since she hasn't done a Russian adoption.
Another lesson in trust I suppose.
Glad your talk with Yuriy went well and you feel confident.
