We Have a Court Date!

I received a call from CSS yesterday and we have a court date for January 21st. Woo hoo!!!
My best friend Karen (we have been friends since we were 10 years old) is staying with us this week and we have been having loads of fun shopping for Liam everyday. I guess we will need to put it into high gear now with the shopping.
I can’t believe that we will see our little guy again in just 23 days! The holidays have really helped the time pass quickly and we still have to finish prepping his room once our houseguests have left.

This is just so awesome. We're both so happy for you guys.
Side note about the whole bonding and holding thing. We didn't shy away from the grandparents holding Andrei, we were just sort of happy when we saw him steer more towards us.
And just remember each kid is different and just go with what feels comfortable with you.

Congrats...perhaps we will meet up in Moscow, as we were told we may travel for trip 1 the very beginning of February. Have fun shopping for Liam!

I just bought some cheap and small iPod speakers at Target for $2.50 (if you're looking for some to take on trip 2) -- on sale for half-price after Christmas. They were originally packaged as a guy gift for the holiday. And at $2.50, you could leave them there and it would be no big deal.
