Liam's Room
Sunday, January 13, 2008
We finally finished up Liam’s room so it is all ready for him. We had things semi in order and then after the shower we had to start the clean-up all over again. As promised, here are some photos of the room.
Here is a picture showing the jungle bedding we received at the shower and the hanging storage thingy for his stuffed animals. Also note the surfing monkey clock above the bed. I didn’t know that the bottom legs and surfboard moved separately when I bought it. I love that clock!

The next 2 pictures show off his wall murals. Rob put together the little table and chairs set we bought for him about a year ago at Ikea. We still need to paint them. The diaper cake from the shower is on the table and you can also see a little bit of his tri-cycle he got at the shower.

I also painted his name on the license plate of the jeep.

Here is his cubicle storage shelves. The top left cube is the beginning of his Dr. Seuss book collection. The top right cube is more our adoption / parenting / Russia book collection. The colored cubes contain all sorts of smaller toys such as balls, cars, etc.

The last picture is of a shelf that Rob re-painted and glued on jungle animals. The teddy bear is from a door prize that I won at a parenting class we attended at the beginning of our journey in 2006. The Russian onion dome cut-outs are compliments of my hair dresser (they were part of a nail polish display).

That’s about it for the room. The rest of the other wall is just closet doors. Let me know what you think! I’m off to get these printed to take to court with us.
