We have sad news to report this week, Liam’s Babushka (Rob’s mother) passed away on Sunday. She had been in poor health and in and out of the hospital for the past year but her death still took us by surprise. Fortunately, we were able to visit with her Saturday night and even though they had her pretty heavily sedated, I think she was aware that we were there. She even reached down and touched Liam’s hand for a moment. The next morning Rob went to check on her and she had passed away moments before he got there. The doctor was completely surprised that she turned so suddenly.

We regret that Liam will not have the opportunity to get to know her but we are happy that she at least got to meet him and we are so thankful that this did not happen while we were out of the country.
