Liam vs. "The Slide"
Tuesday, July 15, 2008
We took Liam to one of our friend’s daugthers birthday party over the weekend. Liam lit up the moment we got there and he saw the huge inflatable jumper. You could almost hear the angelic chorus ringing as he approached it.
I personally don’t get the attraction of those things but it seems that every kid loves them and it sure burns up a lot of their energy so I’m all for it! This one was a castle with a giant slide on it. The slide was about 9 feet off the ground and I think most kids would be a bit intimidated by something 3 times their size but not mine. I was a bit concerned about him going on it but if there’s one thing I’ve learned in the last 5 months from my son, it is that there’s no stopping him from jumping, climbing, & just being an all-around daredevil especially when you have a brightly colored jumper just inviting him in.
Here’s a video of Liam conquering "The Slide":

Looks like he had lots of fun on the slide (and at the rest of the party too).

I am just catching up with my blogs. Holy cow! Could Liam be any cuter?? I can't believe how big, and brave, he is! What a fun day.
